Rosina Moder
Austrian flutist resident in Jamaica. Degree in Flute and Master in Musical Arts of Interpretation, Flute mention. She did postgraduate studies at the 'Schola Cantorum Basiliensis' in Basel, Switzerland, and at the 'Mozarteum' University of Music in Salzburg, Austria. Her career as a performer has taken her to perform in: Europe, Japan, Argentina and the United States of America, Jamaica and the Greater Caribbean. Rosina is the co-founder and CEO of the 'Music Unites Jamaica Foundation', a non-profit organization whose mission is to raise funds for music scholarships and mentor talented students in need. Other objectives of the 'Music Unites Jamaica' are: to promote the investigation of Jamaican composers, as well as the organization of free concerts and workshops throughout the island. Rosina is, in turn, founder and musical director of 'Flauto Dolce', Society of Flutists of Jamaica.
