FROM VALPARAISO TO UNESCO NETWORK

Based on our experience, with more than 20 years in cultural management with musicians from Europe, Jamaica, Nigeria, Peru and Chile, with whom we have designed and executed various multicultural projects, we can assure that despite our cultural differences, music, in its universal language condition has always managed to interconnect us.

After countless examples of successful collaborative projects that we have carried out with musicians from different cultures and disciplines all around the world, we have understood that the only thing we need to achieve unthinkable synergies are binding action spaces.

As CMCD we invite you to connect, grow and contribute in solidarity to the strengthening of this international community of musicians from the different UNESCO Creative Cities of Music, starting from our main port of Valparaíso in collaboration with the musical city of Frutillar.

Locution: Ximena Soto Lagos, Academic of Music Pedagogy Career, Universidad de Valparaíso, Chile.

We invite you to enjoy the following video, where musicians from Valparaíso participate, whose musical theme was composed and performed by our Director of CMCD and Chilean mezzo-soprano, María Cecilia Toledo.
